My very first sewing project...A sock monkey

I saw these adorable creations, maybe 4 years ago, and fell in love with them. The talented ladies in the mse forum inspired me amongst other things. They were time consuming to make but so easy.  All you need is a pair of old socks to start with.  I haven't made one in a while.  An unfinished pink one hidden in a box and loads of new socks. Everytime I was out and spotted a pair I buy it.
