Happy 2013!!!

Better late than never, hey! lol I hope you've all had a brilliant time over the festive season.  May 2013 brings us all happiness and good healtlh - plenty more bargains and fantastic makeovers! :)

Right, I don't have many things to share as I haven't been up to much.  Life has been same old same old.  One big change is that my baby DD is starting nursery on Monday! only morning Mon-Fri. I remember getting a little teary when DS started his first swimming lesson without me :( They are growing way too fast.

I was lying! I have done something... I found a box from Dunelm at the CS, just chipboard type, I was looking for one to store my sewing bits.  And I had a pine mirror I was unsure where to put it, I was going to decoupage but painted it instead, same paint I used for the cabinet.  I need take some after photos. I sewed DD a little Christmas skirt to wear to a party :)

I am currently doing DD's bedroom. She wants a purple room so I'm going to go for shades of purple, preferably lilacs-creams-pinks colour scheme with butterflies and flowers :) I have washed one wall and stripped a zoo themed top border. More stripping to do tomorrow.
